best 2Gb mp3 player suitable for running?

had a look at a Creative Stone, and now this sandisk thing (similar price, about 30 quid)

    any prefs, or something else?

don't want a shuffle, and needs to be able to resume, since listening to podcasts

don't want to spend more than 35 tops. already have an 60GB Archos for movies etc

I have a cheap £10.00 one from scan that takes SD cards, nothing fancy but doesn't really matter if it gets trasehd or dropped and scracthed, or falls out your pocket and gets lost.

    Product #: 318062

The creative stone is a nice mp3, perfect for running when you get the armband. However atm I'm using this: http://onlinedigitaldeals.com/view/i...ness+functions
Forget the fact it's pink, it looks like red really, it comes with an armband already, has a pedometer; pretty much perfect for you. However annoying proprietary software needed to put music on it (not drag and drop) however there are alternatives available online.

Yeah the pricing is a bit messed, up; hard to get hold of. I personally bought one from play.co.uk for 45 pounds like 6 months ago. If you do manage to get hold of one; i used jsymphonic, it works perfectly, just chuck it onto the drive, and you can put music on it from any computer that has JAVA installed (including linux). Yes it does have resume, wherever you stop, it'll pick up the next time you turn it on.

The zen stone is a really nice player. Nice and cheap and very light + small. I use it when riding my bike and it should be just as good for running.

I got me one of those Sony's off ebay, for 20 quid all in. Is working as we speak, and jsymphonic is the business!

only hiccup I've found is that the player doesn't always recognise the mp3 name, so end up with multiple files (in correct folder with correct Artist & Album names picked up automatically) called 'Unknown'. Any idea why?

    ty muchly for the advice

I use my N95 with an 8Gb card and a set of motorola S9's. No problems getting rangled up with wires that way.
