    Stream video over internet?

Got a wedding DVD that I wanted to show someone. If I convert this into a smaller file (such as divx) can it be sent to someone to watch while I watch it? Can VLC player do something like that? I don't want to send the actual file, as it would be too large, but want someone to watch it along with me.

    Thanks

Tried that, but its a very annoying/difficult to use interface. Any other suggestions?

Sorted now. Converted to xvid, and compressing like no tomorrow into archives, using winrar. File size shouldnt be too big to send over msn.

    Re: Stream video over internet?

Finished compressing. Made 20 RAR archives.. Then put all them into a single RAR. Shaved 10mb off the original file size :| lol I take it audio and video don't compress very well?!

    Re: Stream video over internet?

In that time you could have uploaded way more than 10mb. Once its is already compressed with XviD... RARing it is pointless. You should just split it into smaller parts to make transferring easier. And if one of the transfers gets corrupted, its easier to upload one small part rather than the whole thing again...
