Flip Mino not supported outside the US

For those of you interested in entry-level camcorders, beware the Flip from Pure Digital! I have recently acquired a Flip Mino, and the latest software update has crashed on two computers. I contacted the manufacturer's support, and was astonished to get this response:

"Please note, your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements listed for the Flip camcorder as your processor is Celeron. ...Also, please note, the camcorder that you have and the software on the device were intended for use in the United States only, and thus we cannot guarantee full functionality on all of your configurations. "

They are ruling out use outside of the US and if you have a Celeron processor in your PC - this rather limits their market, I think.
