S550 vs BD80 - any thoughts?

I'm currently looking at the Sony S550 vs the Panasonic BD80. Anyone got anything bad to say about either?

Cant go wrong with the Panasonic BD80!
Only neg point its not the fastest at loading but its not bad.

I went for the S550 in the end. It's not the quickest at loading either. I can understand that the BD itself takes ages to load but why does it take SO long from power up to being able to open the drawer?

Message to any BD player designers out there - make the eject button a power-on button too, that bypasses disc-checking and opens the tray immediately. UI design - it's not rocket science, is it?

Get a PS3 ?

In a group test the Panasonic BD60 won against the Sony S550.

So BD60 or BD80 ... ?

Just read you've already purchased. hope you enjoy it. My brother got the S350 and I must say I was impressed.

I had to get the BD80 as the BD60 does not have analog out for 5.1 which i need as i have an old Amp.
