    Birds of Prey

I was at a village fete today where they had a display of a few birds of prey. I managed to get about 160 photos of them with my Canon 50D and 28-135mm. The high framerate and quick autofocus was very useful. I gave mum my old 400D and it didn't give anything near the results of the 50D.

The only editing I've done is a crop and resize. I'm on my laptop which isn't much good for colour/exposure editing.

Nice. Harris Hawks (first 7 photos, I think) are awesome. The only bird I know of that hunts in packs.

I do believe that they are the only bird of prey that naturally hunts as a pack

    Re: Birds of Prey

The other bird looks like a Red-tailed Hawk, have no idea about the frog.

    Re: Birds of Prey

I believe Harris Hawk and Red Tailed Hawk are the correct answers. I think the frog is a baby toad, it was a bit warty.

They had another display later in the day but I thought it was going to be with the same birds so I didn't go over. They actually had a goshawk and an osprey.
