Without telling us what the contract is behind the $30 its a bit of a hollow story! I got my HTC Kaiser a few years ago for £20, but that was with a £35, 18 month contract...making the intital ''cheap'' £20 fairly short sighted! ;)
seems like this has more to to with everyone wanting a motorola droid to be honest. the eris needs to be significantly cheaper or no-one would touch it
