Online albums...

What sort of online facilities do you use for your photos?

I'm after a site with password-protected access, but of the sort where those accessing the photos need only know a password and not have to register or create an account etc. I'm leaning towards hosting them on a home server but if the right sort of service exists for free, or for a relatively insignificant cost, that might be better.

Any suggestions gratefully received!

Don't really bother with online albums - I've done some minor things with Flickr and Picasa, which have been enough for my needs. DeviantArt is another one I looked at.

PBase.com let's u password directories it's $24 a yr for 500MB

Was bored one week so built mine myself....Content Management System, password access to directories, comment system, quick links....http://www.ianmercer.com....

I don't use it as much as I should, but then again, I'm not taking photo's as often as I should - like to think I'll get back into it before too long (I think my new 5D II deserves it ).

Nice to have total control over structure and graphics but updates & changes take a long time.

I either use flickr for the pictures which are supposed to be seen by people not having an account with facebook. Then I use facebook, as most friends are there anyway so that they can easily see my pics. That's quite handy. Otherwise I don't have any online albums. Are you doing your shopping online? I do so and it is awesome!
