I went on a one-to-one photography 'lesson' with Paul Hobson, a wildlife photographer, on Wednesday, and thought I would share some of the results with you in a separate thread rather than putting them all in 'photo a day' - comments welcome :

Seriously nice. What lens ?
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Thanks!
Borrowed his Canon 300mm F2.8L IS . Seriously nice lens (but a bit heavy and out of my price range!). Most of those shots also had a 1.4x TC attached too...
Are they in 'chronological' order? You seemed to have got more into your stride in the second half of them, some of those are the dog's knees some real keepers
Whereabouts was this?
Oh and number 8......
Definately...
Yeah, they are in chronological order, and they definitely improved as the day progressed. I think part of it was down to the light though - it was very bright but misty in the morning which hit the quality/sharpness of the photos a bit.
It was at Bempton Cliffs which is on the northeast coast just above Bridlington - and the only gannet colony on the UK mainland. Just missed the puffins which was a bit of a shame...
i'm even later , - great photos.
Grammar fixed
Very nice images, which bird is it?
