Digital Photo Frame Query

Hello,

I am interested in the Samsung SPF-1000P 10" digital photo frame - from it's look to functionalities however it has been discontinued. I'm not sure why and would like to know the reason. It is also available as an 8" frame however I prefer 10" frames.

Are there any other digital frame that has the same or better functionality than Samsung SPF-1000P or should I just get the 8" digital frame? Otherwise, are there any new digital frames about to be released?

Have a look eBay. There's someone selling 10" Motorola frames for about £50. They're refurbished but that's no biggie. I've got one myself and have been very pleased with it.

I cannot find it on eBay as well. I have been searching high and low for about a week now and found out that it was discontinued 2 days ago. This model was only released for a short period of time somewhere around April 2011 - July 2011 so I don't think many people have it. Also, please don't take offence, but it is a birthday present so I would prefer a brand new device . Thank you for the suggestion though!
