HELP - need old firmware for my Samsung Bluray player, BD-C6500.

    Evening all,

    Anyone got a Samsung BD-C6500 ??

Cuz if you have, and its a slightly older model than mine, I wonder if you still have a copy of the last firmware, V 1021.4 ?? I'm on 1022.3 and it's killed a couple of functions -

The auto upgrade has buddered up the fast forward and rewind of my MKV files. I've got Samsung on the case, but they don't appear to be too hot, and now their support website won't let me view their latest replies, keeps asking me to login, when I know full well I *am* logged in....

The manual clearly states that these 2 functions are available for MKV and MP4 files, and so far Samsung have not denied that this is possible, but they won't let me have a copy of the previous firmware - they say they don't have a copy !!!!

    Poor, very poor....

    HeXites ?

    Over to you ..
    Cheers, David

Quick update - it turns out it wasnt the update but a faulty mobo. It was just coincidental that it went down immediately after the upgrade !

All fixed and working fine now.

Hi. I've got the same problem with new Ver.1023.0 Oct.06.2011 firmware. Could you be so nice and help me? I need the older one to make a downgrade. Thank you.

Miro, you cannot downgrade firmware, not physically possible. If it's still under warranty, take it back, its easy fixed.
