    Looking for a good clipper

    Hi there!

I'm looking for a good clippers set for myself. i had a Wahl for more than a year and it just broke down; i had to recharge it for a couple of hours and then the battery just dies down after 20 minutes of use.

    Any recommendations guys?

I need one that has a good reputation on clippers, well build/quality, battery doesn't dies down easily (even when charged) and a good warranty.

I've had Babyliss and Wahl, Babyliss seem to be better made & have lasted me longest. I think they were only about £16 from Boots as well...

Actually, they're even cheaper now... See here

If you are after a small facial hair clipper, I would recommend the Wahl Lithium Ion Rechargeable Professional Trimmer - Total Grooming Kit 9854-802

Re: Looking for a good clipper

This is my 4th Wahl in 20 years. First was corded, then battery, then charger, now Lithium Ion. Lithium Ion is way to go as charge very quick and don't loose power while not in use.

The shaving attachment is a joke, but it's a fantastic trimmer. Have had mine for a year now using it once or twice a week and charged it three times.

Might be priced better somewhere else.
