Personally I stick with Powerex where possible, typically using the 2400mah batteries with this awesome charger:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Powerex-C900.../dp/B000OA98SQ
It's a great, reliable charger that never lets my batteries get too hot, has built in conditioning/recovery modes which do a damn good job of "fixing" batteries that have started to keep less of their charge, and has the option to fully discharge a battery, which is useful for keeping them in shape. Oh and it has an LCD..thats just cool
It's not strictly needed though - the 7dayshop one that Zakk has posted will be more than good enough for most uses..and is MUCH cheaper!
The powerex are a consistent size too so for my application they work great
Well I ended up getting the £12 charger from 7Days:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/7dayshop-Bat...9297158&sr=8-2
Can't say it looks particularly sturdy and well built (or much better than the one Zak posted tbh) but it does allow me to charge 1 battery at a time and I really don't use 9v batteries.
I'm also going to store some of the batteries I bought (2900mAh 7Days) for a while so I guess I should really use the discharging feature correct?
I bought this charger not too long ago, good for AA or AAA, individual or not... seems pretty good, certainly had no issues with it http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lloytron-Int.../dp/B004X7HA9U
I wouldn't go expensive for a AA battery charger. Simple energizer or duracell chargers work just fine in my experience.
I recently bought some batteries and chargers from this <link removed> and it is working very well for me. Even got at the best price compared to eBay. Today bought Technoline also and I think I am in luck because this one also is a sweet deal.
You are wright! There is a high-pitched sound that older people can-t hear!
The power supply in your charger operates at 19 to 35KHz depending of the load(discharged batteries low pitch(that you can hear 19Khz),charged batteries high pitch(35KHz that even you can-t hear but a dog can))!!!
Good luck!!
thank you
You know what, in hindsight, I should have just bought Apple's battery kit.
http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MC...arger?fnode=5a
I know, Apple, but this is just another product category where convenience and simplicity is better than flat out specs war. This thing is just so simple and unobtrusive and does a decent job with any rechargeables.
The thing is, it's a reasonable price, does it's job well and you can get on with life.
