Question Cheap as chips £59.99 Tablet. But which one ?

After much searching i have come down to these two Tablets :

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/b-grade-yarv...82311#overview

    https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...959&catid=1882

Now the maplin one seems slightly better with a better screen resolution but they both seem like for like !
The maplin one i have found cheapest new is £98 from amazon.

This would be for my 7 year old who want one now because my oldest boy is saving up to get one for his birthday in September so there is no way i can hold till xmas.
My oldest boy will get a better one then hence the cheap option now then my youngest gets a better one for xmas ! Kids really make you scream

    http://www.sweettablets.com/

any of those.. I prefer the smallest one, the Midget Gem.
http://www.sweettablets.com/tablet-pcs?product_id=62 and it's very good value...

Get a cheap Micro SD card and you've got a lot of storeage, and a good device with a case too.

Yes I have one of those AND one of the Kola Kubes (newer dual core version)

There doesn't seem much point buying a refurb tablet when the new Sweettablets are cheaper, particularly if it's only going to have a 6 month lifespan.

Anyone remember the days when as kids we just had to wait for things?

I would give this consideration as it's got a dual core processor. Plus free headrest holder for kids woo hoo.

If it's for your young boy, all he will really care about is playing games and maybe watching videos, so forget anything else other than "Does it support Google services" that is unless you are familiar with side-loading apps and are happy sourcing apps from elsewhere like the Amazon app store...

    Went for this one

    http://www.ebuyer.com/390596-exdispl...c-ebr1-astro-7

I got it for £57 Tested it ,had to reset the whole thing as it got stuck on the Android logo screen !! After that it works very well , i was impressed ,works very fast and plays games very smoothly
Not as quick as my wife's Nexus 7 but a good solid performer for the price !

    Cheers for input

Personally I would stay away from archos as they are bad quality, I know this as we sell them at my place of work and we get these back on a regular basis.

QFT, made the mistake of buying an Archos myself and after replacements I demanded a refund. Truly the poorest quality thing I have ever purchased.
