Wow it's incredible in looking back now at specs of the MSX and to think your average washing machine could out compute one of these today. Although I must admit washing clothes is much less exciting than the original MSX tehe.
Awesome, C64 & Spectrum were 30 last year now another 8 Bit great has a landmark birthday.
Never owned one myself but I have been looking into them to get one for my collection, thing is though there are so many variations in the system its knowing which one to get. Its kind of like the early PC Compatibles made by Tandy etc where the PC software would work on them, from what I believe the MSX is the same. They were made by so many manufacturers and there are loads of different models
I think the Amstrad CPC 464 is due a 30th also, the Spectrum +2 series launched in 87 which was modeled on the CPC464 except that the Spectrum machines didn't have the cursor style keys.
