Chromecast initial thoughts

Had mine for about 4 months now and it really is a great device. Its so easy to setup and use. I Just wish a few more people would support it.

It's an ok device. But as others have said it needs more support, can't really complain though considering it's price.

Seems like it'll be getting support and upgrades with time judging by Google's announcements last month. For the price, it's a great device, and I'm sure it'll fill a void in many living rooms.

I have had the old version for a while and decided to "upgrade" to the fire stick as it has a remote and my parents feel more comfortable with that than with smartphones.

For me chromecast experience was way better than fire tv stick. But then again I use them as streamers from my local NAS so probably different than most other people.

Then i might just get one because casting to my smart tv is always a pain in the ass. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
