    Isn't vinyl great!

Just got sorted with a Project Debut III turntable (built in phono stage). For the money its an amazing piece of kit. Rescued all my old lp's out the attic where they've been for 10 years or so. What a tremendous sound - really sweet, natural. Can't see me putting on a CD for a bit. Its just like Christmas, trawling through 200 or so old records that I didn't know/forgot I had. Although the missus is drawing the line at Alice Cooper, Van Halen, etc. For the 'record' dealt with hifistore.co.uk and they were cheap and great to deal with -next day delivery etc

my dads got a great collection of a couple of hundred vinyls from the 60s to the late 80s, everything from the White Album, Pet Sounds to Road to Hell... hmmmm

Gotta be worth something I'd have thought - although maybe not so much for Chris Rea

Yeah, the Beatles album will be worth a bit I expect. I really need to get my LP12 up and running again.

    Got this deck

    http://www.hifistore.co.uk/product.php?qsProd=PHONOSB

from hifistore.co.uk - ordered late on Sunday night and delivered at 11am on Tuesday which at this time of year is tremendous. Cost me £154.95 which I thought was good because this deck includes the phono stage and speed box (means you just use a switch to change from 33 to 45. Hope this comes out ok - been on the whisky since 12 and just got home, pished.

Vinyl Rocks. In fact, all old skool hi-fi rocks. I got me my dad's old turntable, and his amp, speakers, and Vinyl.

So I'm rocking it up to Meat Loaf, Simple Minds, Led Zep, Madness, Shawn Phillips. Some damn good fun
