In my investigation, I found a suppler of said items and the unit cost of the fake USB drives is about 50p to £1 and I was offered the "SanDisk" branded at 42p each if I bought 100 (£42 total)
I think it is a lack of knowledge on the part of ebay. They would quicky spot if someone was selling a Nike branded top hat or a Apple record player. The people buying the said items will probably never know they do not have a 1 TB in capacity flash thumb drive. As most users will not move such large files across.
