    The Sky+ box has an RF aerial input but....looks to me like it's impossible to use th

    I understand that it's meant to be used with a dish, but why then does it have an RF aerial input?

    I wanted to use the box to test my Freeview HD reception. It works on Dish.

    As a passthrough, so you can connect other tvs to the output and have a cheap multiroom setup. You can get eyes for the other tvs that talk to the box over coax

    Thanks, I see. So box probably lacks an actual tuner.

    I got a BT TV box, and would you believe the only channel I can see that the BT TV box doesn't get that the Sky+ free view box gets is CNBC. Unbelievable, the only channel I watch daily for Jimmy Fallon.

    So now I need to keep the sky box.
