I queued outside a record shop in London for around 16 hours over night on the 31th October 97 in temps of about -7.

They gave 10 shops across the UK 30 tickets each, apart from the 2 in London, they got 50 each I think it was. The tickets were free. I got there about 5pm the day before and I was not the first one queueing there either, about 3rd i think and by 3-4am the queue was massive.

Touts were selling tickets outside for £200 up wards, I would not have parted with mine for anything. I managed to get my self a used pick from Jason and a unused drum stick

Pic of the ticket for you

    Now THAT'S dedication! lol.

Sounds like it was worth it, though! Got a photo of Jason's pick? (I'm interested, being a bassist and all )

Man, you're going to be so disappointed if it was just an average Fender or Dunlop pick...

Did not see the request for a pic of the pick, will get one up soon but it is just a boring old pick
