    I actually thought they had stopped a few years ago, must have been living under a rock mind you I think they were always more 'pro' aimed in dedicated camera shops rather than ones people would pick up for their phone which would explain why I haven't seen them in a while.

    Micron is exploring opportunities to sell all or part of the Lexar business.
    So you'll probably still be able to get Lexar branded cards, but whether they'll be decent or not...

    Aww that's quite a shame really - I've often found both their cards and USB drives amongst the best, and not overly expensive either. I wonder if they're selling just the brand or that entire part of the company?

    I wonder how much it is to do with their choice of brand names? Micron are excellent at making stuff, but "Lexar" and "Crucial" both sound cheapy/dodgy to my ears. They'd be better off just using 'Micron' or 'MT' I think.
