The nicest thing about the iRiver is that if you install RockBox, you can play lossless FLAC files :) Winner.

Sandisc clip and clip+ also supported FLAC files, 16bit not 24bit, but rockbox only supports 16bit FLAC
My Clip+ is still going and I still use it :)
The sport and jam also support flac, however they used a different sound chip if I remember correctly that's not as good as the one used in the original clip and clip+
EDIT: @g8ina photo?

ahhhh yes, I see, it links to my FB page and I quite possibly removed those pics, sorry, my bad !
Very nice! I considered lugging around a portable rig but decided it just wasn't practical so now I just use my Sony NW-A35 which puts out a very nice sound on the go and no worry of draining phone battery. The NW-A45 has AptX bluetooth though and is pretty much what the NW-A35 should have been so I would get that if I was in the market again. My Chord Mojo is my desktop set up which I'd say gives maybe 10% more quality and 500% more volume and I am very happy with both. I'm listening on Shure SE846, Sennheiser HD600 and Focal Elear which has been a massive money sink but I honestly get so much enjoyment out of them that they have been my favourite purchases ever I think!
BTW, the earbuds by XiaoMi - the Pistons - are amazing. Ive also just bought some ZSTs to try out, ergonomic ear fitting, very comfy and the bass is stonkingly good.
Both sub £20 from GearBest China.
I've had a good experience with the Taotronic ones you can get from Amazon. Pretty cheap also...
We're not talking blow your socks off good, but for the price I have been very impressed.
I have a portable audio recorder, it's great!
