Jeez lads I thought I was joking, they are 25 years old and are DM14 and weigh a tonne. Collect for free as long as you get here before the skip. Even got some floor standing Missions, but I might just keep them as they are only 10 years old.

And the amp?
Arcam Alpha 7 - maybe 10 years old, cant really remember, but it has problems with the right channel at low volume.

Headphones then mate. In my family it's the wife who insists on blasting the music out anyway, I frequently have to tell her to turn it down so as not to annoy the neighbours!

Boo-yah! Thought you said you ordered a Marantz though?
It was out of stock and it's discontinued, so I went for the Yammy which I was originally gonna get before I came across the Marantz

On the speaker front I appear to be very much more limited in my Budget. I really want floorstanding fronts for aesthetic reasons!
Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo 3B - At the price I have seen it (£650) I can't believe there is anything to touch it. The sub is not quite up to scratch, but anthing else I put together from Separate brands comes up way too expensive.
Monitor Audio B4 Home Cinema - Not sure I will find this within my budget.
Without the floorstanders then I could listen to the Wharfdales and I understand EPOS do a well reviewed package but I cant seam to find it anywhere.
I'm off to Cambridge Saturday to do some listening.
