Cheap too, its £20 more than the Shuffle but has a screen, radio and much more battery.
Love the styling, looking forward to reviews. Something like an April/May release

Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?
I thought the iPod shuffle was £69?
Depends on the amount of storage, think the 1GB is around £100

iPod shuffle:
512MB - £69
1GB - £99
I have to say they look VERY impressive.. But for that money you can get nearer the region of 5gb +. . Soo does seem quite expensive for what it actually is..Seeing some reviews would be cool..
Heres a well known fact, all Sony MP3 Players are not loud enough for me. Its why there battery life lasts so much longer.
Yes but on the NW-HD3, you can unlock the level limiter, as it were, allowing larger output and higher volume.. So I expect there are also hidden menus on some of their other products, admittidely though it does decrease the battery life a bit..Originally Posted by DeludedGuy

I assume that they still use Sony's god-awful DRM-infected software though?
Yep looks that way as its shipped with SonicStage 3. . (I have to say version 3 is a HUGE improvement from version 2.3 .. Definately better still not an amazing program but is usable!)Originally Posted by Aaron
It clearly says it supports MP3, and I've heard of their HDD units supporting MP3's too so no real issue.Originally Posted by Aaron
Wow, somebody undercutting Apple prices with a superior product, what is the world coming too
NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, GBA, DS, PSone, PS2, PSP, PS3 60gb, XBOX, XBOX 360, Master System, Game Gear, Mega Drive, Saturn, Dreamcast, PC Engine, Neo Geo CD
Yes but I'm not soo sure that it does directly support mp3's.. As it maybe the same as the NW-HD3 (this says clearly it supports mp3's, but doesn't directly!) where you can not just drag and drop mp3's as they HAVE to go through SonicStage, to get added to the library, otherwise they are treated as data.Originally Posted by javalord
This is because they become "registered" in the rights protection database on the HD3 (and it may or may not be the same for the flash player). MP3s dragged and dropped are just regarded as "data" files and are there for storage only.
Hopefully it won't be the same but seems likely..
Because a hard drive is weak for some people , I'd like the extra storage but when it breaks its a big loss. If I buy a flash player im pretty much guaranteed of solid reliable performance for a long time.Originally Posted by Butuz
