    Outdoor Wireless IP Camera

    Hi Folks

Did have a outdoor security light covering the back of the house but it has blown up.

So as we have a Synology DiskStation was thinking of replacing it with an outdoor wireless IP camera and using surveillance station to manage, record and store.

Wondering if anyone had any recommendations, ideally must have the following:

    - Wall mountable
    - Runs off mains
    - Wireless (is near a wireless access point so shouldn't be a problem)
    - Compatible with the DiskStation
    - IR / Night mode for overnight

Budget is fairly flexible (sub £150), would rather get something good rather than cheap.

    Let me know your thoughts.

You've certainly got plenty of choice.
I can't give a direct recommendation but their site has a compatible list

I went with the Reolink 511W in the end. So far from internal testing it works well and works with the NAS. Will have to see how it works outside and overnight when it gets installed next week.

I also have a synology NAS, anything from *snip * is apparently compatible. *snip* has a huge choice so you can choose what you want. I ended up basically choosing the form factor like IR, MP, dome shape etc.

I think * snip * are mostly PoE so that saves a cable. You can get these powerline with PoE e.g. TRENDnet Powerline 200 AV PoE+ Adapter.
