    One reason I went with Roku is that they have a version that uses an IR remote, not wireless or Bluetooth. The latter two are convenient in that they're not 'line of sight', but not so good if you use an IR universal remote like me. The Roku interface is a bit slow compared to some of the other alternatives (not sure if it's a limitation of the choice of hardware or software implementation?), but it gets the job done.

    I use an Firestick device for streaming

    However, Nvidia shield is also a better altenative
