    New Acoustic Guitar

I've been playing the elecy for a year and a half now and thats great but I bought a £45 Falcon acoustic a few months ago and its awful. The strings are about 1cm above the frets making fast finger picking near impossible. Any suggestions for a new one £130 and under?

Both Collins and Tanglewood make some decent acoustics for that price, there was also a rather nice korean made mahogny top acoustic for £99 that got a good review in total guitar this month, can't remember the brand atm plus i've not played one myself. Personally I'd try and make it to your nearest decent music store and play a few as you can always order it cheaper online when you get home, remember though acoustics can sound quite harsh when they're new in the shop but will mellow with time.

Cheers, I will have a look around. Also I'm pretty new at choosing acoustics so what kind of features am I looking at for a good one?

A solid Spruce or Cedar top (cedar will sound warmer without having to be played in), decent hardware (looking at the same kinda things as for an electric, tuning stability etc.), Try and get them to throw in a set of elixer strings aswell, brilliant strings on acoustics imo.

Ok, I've been looking around and I've found a £90 Yamaha acoustic guitar. Played it for a while in a music shop but it's not what i'm looking for....

I've decided to get an electro acoustic guitar instead. Although I'm not too sure what I need for it. I am currently using a V-Amp 2 linked to my PC for my electric guitar so will that work with it too?

Should work Fine through a V-amp, won't sound as nice as a dedicated acoustic amp but than again its less than half the price so you can't really complain.
