Tunes to make your BBQ grove

Well, as summer is upon us, and everyone is gonna be removing the BBQ from the shed, finding it covered in last years food, and spending 2 hours cleaning the grill

But all the hard work has been done, the beers are chilled, you're spraying the fire with lighter fluid to get that flame grilled taste, people are running round your garden throwing buckets of water at each other, its paradise.

Question is, what tunes are you going to use to accentuate this fine moment? Songs that everyone loves, and that really capture that feeling of summer? For me, they all come from the mid to late 90's.

DJ Piper & the masters of the ceremony - Do you really like it
Spiller - Grovejet (if this aint love)
    Architectes - Body grove
Craig David - fill me in
    Vanessa amorosi - absolutly everybody

What would your suggestions be? Knox & swafe, we all you love the heavy metal, but to me screaming over instruments being tortured doesn't really say "summer"

Noooo. This will always go down in my mind as the track which made SEB decide she could do solo/mainstream work, thereby bringing theaudience to an end. And they weren't bad either.

    </rant>

Edit: However it does belong on that list I suppose

Tunes to make my BBQ Grove......

well.....to make a grove you need lots of tree's.

However, to make it groOve I'd go with lots of AC/DC.

Rock n Roll makes people happy

Despite their lack of excessive mainstream exposure, the new Hopesfall album "A-Types"makes for relative easy listening rock that even my rap loving best mate has taken a impressive interest in. While their older work is far better, most barbeque goers would probably enjoy it.

BTW... on a completely unrelated sidenote, I find it intriguing how people can have certain main tastes, enjoy some genres, but despise other genres - which are very similar to the other genre. Example. Chris enjoys his hip hop, RHCP and all that. However, he also loves AFI, the Blood Brothers and Hopesfall (All I've managed to get him into so far), whilst hating Poison the Well, Refused and Alexisonfire.

    Baffling!

Back on topic... there is ONE track that should be at EVERY SINGLE barbeque in the world. Throwdown - Baby Got Back.

    YES.
