Logitech Z-2300 2.1 THX, are they digital?

I have the z-2200 and I was looking for a digital set.... But I cant figure out if the Logitech Z-2300 are digital... Does anyone have them?

Is there much of a diference betwen digital and analog? My z-2200's are crackling and I need a new set of 2.1 speakers... Any recomendations?

yea, I tested them with my iHP-120 mp3 player. The left speaker only crackes on high pich sounds... Like opera Not to mention the latest beta audigy 2 drivers suck!!! They suport that open AL crap for BF2 thats coming out but the sound is muffled

The volume knobe never goes beoynd 50% and the audigy outout is at 50% as well... So I dont think its that loud Never the less its loud! Really loud! But the knobs only half way.... One would think that they are ment to handel 100% of there amps power

sounds sensible, but i dont think it's true (tell me if im wrong) but you can't expect them to play big bass heavy or super high treble at max volume without distorting. a chap in a reputable hifi shop once told me not to crank my amp over 50% and that at that level they are almost as loud as they will get anyway.

nevertheless is doesnt sound like youve abused them really, just thought id throw 2p in.
