We've got 2 Bush ones at work that are alrite, decent quality, nice and small and a simple remote, pretty sure they were picked up at Asda or Sainsburys for about £40.

We have the same one, picked up from Tesco's, but with my girlfriends Mum's discount we got it for £36. It's alright, does the job, but not one that you can add those pay per view channels to as it doesn't have a card slot.

Go for the Matsui TUTV 1 box from Dixons...
That way you futureproof yourself with the card slot and can add PPV in future
Otherwise, I have the Matsui DTR1 box and am very happy with it, it's got a sensitive tuner and is very fast loading interactive content. I think it may be a variant of the Bush Model as the remote seems identical...

a short while ago there was a digibox with tivo functionality (hdd recorder) going pretty cheap (<£150) on the bargin forum. might be worth a peak - not cheap but that functionality is ace
