    Sunset *56k*

    taken the other night. this is me by my girlfriend, taken with my other camera (digital), I'm using a 'normal' camera with slide film. just been using slide for the first time and results are amazing, especially when projected up onto a 12foot high wall space!
    i'm hoping mine comes out as well as this one. i'm a bit concerened i have competition, and so close to home too!

    yes, I find deviant art rather slow but I like the idea someone can buy my work...not sure how it all works but I'd love to start making some on the side, i probably spend more time thinking about photography than my actual job (oops!)

    Thats a great picture. Have you had a chance to develop your photos yet?

    This is one that I took from a plane a few years ago. My one and only sunset pic that has actully turned out ok.

    You've got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?

    thats cool midzt. plane windows are polarised normally so you don't get blinded by the sun at altitude. this helps us photographers as you have so excellently demonstrated.

    its Clevedon, somerset. and in the distance is Wales!
    i held a cokin sunset filter in front of the camear as she pressed the shutter, random settings, so was partial fluke/partial planned

    Not my best (cant find the right disk) but here are some of mine...

    Taken from my garden where are am lucky enough to live in lovely countryside and get views like this all the time;

    This was taken just tonight on my K750i (forgot my proper camera). As it was the summer solstice, we went and watched the sunset at an old Druid stone circle on the Shropshire/welsh border hills near us;

    Me in Scotland (Loch Lomond). Not sure why, but i really like this photo. It was taken on an old APS film camera then scanned, so it's a bit grainy;

    Whoa!
    If that's sharp at full res I reckon it could be worth some money.
    A good example of when it's good to break the rules (normally you shouldn't put the horizon right in the middle, but here it works perfectly.)

    Yeah, it's the sun on the water and pier in the middle that makes it work so well. Stunning.
