    Post Best Lightsaber Fight

Ok, it is time for the vote.
In episode 3, the light saber battles are going to be superb, simple as that. The Obi Wan vs Aniken is going to be longer than any before, and Mace Windu is going to go out 'like a viking on fire' (hope I didnt spoil that for you, we all know the Jedis die).

So is the best, in your opinion, lightsaber battle in all 5 Star Wars films?

    1. Qui Gon vs Darth Maul (tatooine) - Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

    2. Obi Wab and Qui Gon vs Darth Maul - Episode 1: The Phantom Menace

    3. Obi Wan and Aniken vs Count Dooku - Episode 2: Attack Of The Clones

    4. Yoda vs Count Dooku - Episode 2: Attack Of The Clones

    5. Obi Wan vs Darth Vader - Episode 4: A New Hope

    6. Luke vs Darth Vader - Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back

    7. Luke vs Darth Vader - Episode 6: Return Of The Jedi

The Yoda Vs Count Dooku battle. I like the eay he hobbles in with his stick just managing to walk and then unleashes his massive light sabre and lets rip

Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean

I personally think that the Qui Gon 'n' Obi Wan vs Darth Maul fight is fantastic! Its so fast paced and when I saw it for the first time after the slow paced original fights I thought "this is something different!"

Yoda does kick ass though! He just pretends to be a little scrubber!

Sorry to be boring but i don't see how you can compare animated cgi against some of the classics in ep4,5 and 6.

Lets put it in context please

Especially when luke refuses to fight Darth Vader but defends himself and then the end of the emperor.

As you've not included the massed battle in Episode 2 where all the jedi's are in that massive fight in the arena type place then I think I'll go for Obi Wab and Qui Gon vs Darth Maul. I agree with you mojo..... It was a nice departure from the pace of the original battles.

But come on though... I'm sure I wasn't the only one who had been dying to see a fight that involved those many Jedi's since I first saw the first movie!

IT wasnt really a lightsabre fight, i meant with 2 sabres hitting it off.

That did kick ass though! All those Jedi!

I've gone for 'Qui Gon and Obi Wan vs Darth Maul (Ep1)' because of superb fight coreography (sp!) matched up with a great piece of music to back it.

Close second is ESB, the lighting worked really well there.
