These were taken at twycross zoo. Taken during the summer but only just got round to post processing them.

    Constructive comments welcome.

Those are great, what did you take them on?

The second one is my favourite.

Well, £380 is considerably less than a safari.

As for what the animal is I think its a Cappibara(sp) and I'm sure the other isn't a beaver, not sure what is is though.

Great high quality shots the money was worth it and you seem to have quite a nice eye for things.
I especially like the way you can see the fur and feathers so well I'm not overly keen on the top of head shot on the small furry one (beaver?) it's cute but perhaps a different angle would show the animal off much more?
    Anyway.
Great shots please put some more pics up if you have some I'd love to see them

They're the kind of shots to demonstrate why you should buy a high-quality camera, not a cheap CMOS digicam... those of us with cheap digital cameras can only dream of getting photos that sharp and vivid.
The Beaver is an excellent shot - reminds me of the shots that I was trying to take in Greenwich Park feeding the squirrels (getting them come up to take them out your hand, then sit a little way off cracking their way into the nut), only your shot is way better than anything I took - perfectly framed and clear.
