    Rendering In Photoshop

Well almost, certainly very useful for beginners

For those who want to get into true rendering for free I recommend www.blender3d.org

I dont get the relationship to Photoshop .

Have you used blender much Matt1eD?

I have had it installed now for some time a keep fiddling with it every so often but have never got round to making a good lash at it. It certainly seems like a pretty powerful program and the GUI is pretty sweet . But I have to say without making a concerted effort to get to grips with the keyboard shortcuts/commands tis a tricky enough program to use.

Blender always seemed really hard to get to grips with for me. I tried it quite a while ago and its seemed to be quite complicated. I use Solidworks and 3ds instead now

i played with blender too, got reasonably good with it but then stopped. I tried to pick it up again recently to make an animation of a functioning muscle for work - if you know about that sort of thing its on cross-bridge attachments - primarily designed for lectures I was writing for the undergrads...
...couldn't remember much so I gave up. and I didn't really want to struggle with flash either...

TBH if you want to have a photochopping contest, have it, you don't really have to wait for anyone to "organise" it

true, no one's stopping you but it would be a bit silly running one on top of another...don't you think?

Well, seeing as there isn't one running at the moment, there's no danger of that is there..

I state again, there is not a currently running photoshop creative "competition", therefore anyone is still free to create their own..

Hey guys I was only jokingly suggesting it .

I didnt realise Shiato had discussed having a photochopping comp.

I dont think there is much point running more than one creative comp at a time and as I certainly dont have the time at the mo to be organising comps so I am perfectly happy to wait untill Shiato Storm organises one .
