    Sony CDX-M650 Car Stereo Code

    Hi all,

I've just changed the battery in my car, and as suspected my stereo reset its self and asked for the code input from the IR controller.

I've got my controller but I can't find the box with the code on (I've had it for 3 years now) I must have threw it out when I moved house.

Is there a site or a way I can get a list of codes to reset my stereo.

I'm trying to avoid a big bill so any tips on where to get the code without a lot of pain would be great.

Mines a CDR-M700R with a card remote, had the same problem as yourself but managed to find the code for mine in a stack of paperwork i hadn't touched/sorted in years. Since finding the code I write the sequence of which to press the buttons on my remote with a permanant marker, so if it ever happens again i can manage without the piece of paper with written code.

Anyways the code for mine isn't listed in your list of default codes but is:

    SOUND - MODE - ATT - OPEN

In case your in need of more combinations
