    Italian Job

Saw this today not expecting it to be that good, but it was actually very enjoyable. Not got quite the same feel as the original, but it's (obviously) far more up to date, some good actors and overall money well spent IMO!

    Anyone else seen it?

I don't understand why the film companies could not have just re-branded the film something else. Why do they have to use the name of one GREAT movie to try and boost their profits.
Saying that, is it worth me spending my hard earned cash to see this ?

I have yet to see the first one But this new version was fantastic and hearing Jonathan Ross slate it the other night on his film review just confirms to me that these reviewers just go out their way to say something is crap so they get recognised!

...Very entertaining, and very nice Mini's

I saw it last night, it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be! But then again I am a sucker for a good heist movie.

See it! Rent it today! I agree about reviewers in general though.

I don't think it's feasible not to compare it to the original; it's taken the same name and hyped itself as a remake. Now I'll admit I haven't seen the new one, but it sounds like it's a perfectly reasonable film in its own right - it's just that a remake of the original would have to be pretty special to live up to it.
