    Star Wars

Do you think the new star wars films live up to the classics or has George Lucas lost his touch?

    What's your opinion?

yeah, i know what you mean. With modern graphics films look better than ever, but as long as the film doesn't suffer because of it.

That rumour you have heard about Ani falling into a volcano is true, Mr. Lucas has said so himself according to all the news which i read on the star wars boards. as for release date i have heard something like summer 2005, bit of a wait, but worth it IMO.

The main thing i dont like about the newer Starwars is the jedi powers being turned from mystical (spiritual) to a biological (physical) force.

And no matter who good the third film will be, when you watch all six in order, you see this story of anakin skywalker and the reasons he became darth vader (1-3) and then from (4-6) he's just evil and wants to crush the rebel alliance at the end of the 6th episode he has the mask taken off and speaks to his son and dies.

Just feels like something is missing, thats all imho
"Mmm... I want you for my wife!"

I thought 90% of Episode 1 was fantastic - honestly It gets better the more times I watch it. Episode II was awful IMO

Eh? They had fighting and purple sabres in Ep2. Ignore the love crap and youve generally got a good movie.

Lucas made this latest batch that are pretty much the same as the first lot, except this time youve got a zillion more people who wanna see it and the hype is enormous. No.3 should be interesting in a make or break kinda way.
I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigs Which doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!

I've never understood how people can say either of the films are bad, i just don't follow what is so bad about either of them?..

Maybe someone can explain to me what is so bad, and the love stuff in ep2 well i think thats the whole point to show how love fks u up and in anakin's case sends him to the dark side

When I first seen Ep 1&2 I didn't like them to much but I have to say that now that I've seen them both a few times I really enjoy them.

Granted they arn't as good the the first 3, but when they were released they were in a class of their own even by todays standards (Timeless). These 2 new ones just add to Star Wars in general, telling the story of Anakin and the Jedi.

Yes i know i need to get out more , Should be interesting to see though how in ep 3 all these little things get tied up.
