1 is action gone by ~ The collecting of the hay.

6 is in motion, the road and its surroundings all have motion blur

7 is pretty obvious, but the less observant may not notice the blurred escalators...

Which ones don't have action? :s

I wanna know what lens did the band one, I love the slight fisheye effect, and even the vignetting looks the part! [IMO]

edit : Infact, if possible, could the owner of the band pic PM me with that info?

it was taken with a canon EOS 300d

i must stipulate, i DID NOT take the photo (was not covered in the rules) but if it turns out the picture wins, any credit/prizes will go to the photographer as he doesnt have a hexus account.

if i am breaking any rules (as i say, entering on behalf of someone wasnt covered) then i am more than willing to be disqualified.

    What do you mean

Its a class photo showing "Action", yeah using my nephew is a little bit of a cheapshot, but he's my nephew and he just happened to punch the air and I just happened to take his picture at the same time.

Please note, I did not do anything to make him punch the air, he did it on his own accord I actually took the picture as he was smiling nicely but I took the picture and there you have it, he was actually punching the air...shutter lag is a b***h isn't it...

And yes my sister (his mother for those not fast enough) is aware that I'm exploiting his likeness

    6 is mine...

Damn right it's odd, I have no idea why I got the dodgy blue cast on the branches & trees near the top O_o

Was taken from a car, through a windsheild, which is also why there's oodles of dust...

Don't have the source EXIF to hand (in college) but basic info is ~

    D70
Nikkor 70-210 (can't remember focal length, but was nearer to 70mm...)
    Shutter priority, 1/6 second
    Can't remember aperture :s
