    Christmassy London

A few shots I took today....

The Covent Garden tree, this year actually a real tree (last year's was a cone with stuff stuck on), with Santa's "£10-a-pop" Grotto underneath...

On to the Leicester Square fun fair...

Two looks at the chair-o-planes, one with fast shutter catching only the brighter lights, one with the whole thing visible...

Finally, two of the carousel, one just as it started, with a fast shutter, the other with a slow one. Thanks random people for standing relatively still!

Indeed...I've been very lazy about using a tripod lately - just can't be bothered to carry one around. I think I will take your advice and head back with one though.
