    nikon 10.5m fisheye

    a friend recently got one of these and i nicked it to have a little play..... mmmmn





    if they were'nt £500 i'd have one in an instant. gonna have to go out and get some bmx street shots at night with this baby, should be fun.

    its a pretty cool lens for experimenting but heck of a price tag for it...
    you could selotape a goldfish bowl to a standard lens for the same effect, no?

    lol, yeah, i toyed with the idea as onestop list it for £353 but they said they couldnt get it. in the end i decided it was a great big waste of money...... but a lot of fun

    Fisheyes are great.

    I want to pick up a Peleng 8mm fisheye. Rubbish image quality, but for the money, you can't complain!

    how much do they usually go for then?

    For the kind of things i'd be doing with it (ie. just playing around really) i don't think i'd need anything expensive

    about £100-120 on ebay when ive seen them

    i found a review here, i'm pretty tempted myself, but will have to wait a while i think.

    the build quality varies massively from lens to lens - some constantly produce very sharp images, and some, errr, don't.

    Coming from Russia you also can't swop it out if you get a duff one...

    Regardless, I still think i'm gonna pick up one for myself
