Does/will the Hauppauge HVR-900 USB2 DVB-T stick support HDTV?

Potentially a very stupid question, but having just bought a couple of these DVB-T sticks to play around with, I find myself wondering (perhaps a bit too late!) whether they will support HDTV broadcasts? I only bought them a couple of weeks ago, to play around with, but they're proving really useful.

Or, am I going to have to throw them of FleaBay and go for a pair of something like the AverMedia USB2 or Twinhan USB2 to get DVB-T-HDTV?

Is HDTV reception in the chip/hardware used in tuner, or is it just a matter of Hauppauge releasing updated drivers that will demux the HDTV transport stream??
