How big is yours?

Hands up, who thought this was a thread about lenses?

You should all be shot, it was supposed to make you think penis size....god, everyone forgets how to be immature so quickly...

Anyway, I realised I haven't done a total backup of my images recently, so went to check how many DVDs I'd need.....15!!!! There's 65 Gb of pics on my hard drive!! What the hell happened there?

Now, that's not including a couple of directories of edited pics, nor any other digital media (I hate to think how much space all my ripped camcorder stuff comes to), so how's about you lot? What ya got?

I think I'm around the 15- 18gb mark, but I backup to an external USB hard drive so it makes it a bit easier for me

sitting at about 13gig or so. need to do something with them this week, only got about 100meg lest on that drive. probably move them to an external USB drive and keep a DVD backup.

Still got all my photos i've taken going back to 2000 with my Olympus C-2020z

just bought another 250Gb internal for pics, stock footage, stock graphics etc

sitting on about 60GB at the moment, purely of personal pics.

Oh, I've got the whole external hard drive backup thing, two in fact (one maxtor 160, one maxtor 250, both with full backups). I've even got a full backup on my wife's Mac....so there's another 195gb, but that doesn't count. I've got one copy (about 6months out of date) with my folks, one with my wife's folks, and one sitting in a safety deposit box (sounds like overkill, but it's there for business reasons and I might as well use the space up somehow).

Fuddan...I found myself dreaming about Blue Ray the other day....until I realised at release write speeds, it would take me about a month to write it all to disk....

i'm lagging behind with only 28 gig of pics and about to burn them all to dvd-r too, that should be a fun afternoon. an external drive is in order too i think.

2.5yrs 38K on the 300D = alot
3mths 10K on the 20D = a few more..

i guess i'm around the 120+ mark - wedding i shot last month = 30GB of 16bit TIFFs..

About 55 GB of photos........size is increasing all too quickly as I now shoot exclusivley in RAW .

Anyway back mine up on a external 250Gb USB 2.0 Drive.

Was 34gb. Had a big massive huge clean up sesh taking up an entire Sunday and got it down to...29gb!!! Wooo that was worth it.
