    probably not , cheap ones tend give soft results with lots of colour abberations

    what you want is one of these to stick on your 70-300, that should give 1:1 magnification, infact that buy it now 1 @£5 is a bargain tbh

    Never heard of them until know but a quick Google says they're really not that bad. Interesting.

    lol, it was but looks like some 1 bought it a minute after i posted

    the one thats still there is the macro leans you want as that will give you 1:1 and be good quality

    actually just checking i'd bookmark this seller as they have sold several of those 58mm sigma achromatic lenses over the last few days all at £5 BIN so they may well have some more to sell

    get a set of extension tubes if you want to do really close macro
