Yep, repeat of the question that seems to be floating round this forum a bit.
I'm looking for a 40"+ (i.e. 42" or 47", but might consider others) screen that can handle the full 1080p (1920z1080 or more) resolution (I know, expensive, waste of money, etc., but it's what I want, not necessarily what I'll get ;)).
For info it will be in a reasonably sunny room, being driven by a PC, so it'll have to accept a DVI or HDMI connection (With HDCP support of course). With HDMI 1.3 being just around the corner, I think DVI might be more future proof. Sound will be handled by an independent audio rack. Finally, because it's being fed from a PC, it does not need a tuner, SCART inputs, composite inputs or even speakers.
So far I have only uncovered the Westinghouse series of screens, but they only cater to the American market. Unless someone in America is willing to temporarily receive and then forward a Westinghouse screen (Sending me a 'used' Westinghouse screen, saving me ridiculous amounts of tax) to the UK, I'm stuck searching for this elusive screen.
So, do any of you guys have any suggestions?
