    Need speakers for iPod (5g)

    Have been asked for some advice from a friend, and i've got some general ideas but wanted to run it all by you intelligent (and pretty) lot;

    She has a 30Gig 5g iPod (the one that 'almost' does video), and has come into some money, so wants to have some sort of dock with speakers for her bedroom to listen to it. Naturally she wants a remote control too. Money is not #1 priority ( ), sound quality is more important (and no discussion please on why she has an iPod in the first place etc).

    I have been reading around ilounge and the Altec Lansing iM7's sound good (£150 ish). The problem is that nowhere (not even manufacturer's website) tells me if the 30Gig (not 60Gig) 5g ipod will fit / be compatible.

    Does anyone know? Should I be considering something else anyway?
    The Logic 3 i-Station 8 also seem to fit the bill, and are quite a bit cheaper, but don't look quite so trendy.

    Any thoughts welcome.

    I brought the missus a BOSE sound dock and she is very happy with it. The sound quality is good and it not too big. at £250 it's a bit pricey though.
