righto, i hear ya. I stopped doing them after xmas as there was a serious lack of attendance...but since the numbers of nutters on here has grown then I agree now might be a prime time to get another going.
I have a couple of ideas that could be put to use...

I was actually just thinking about this.

My ideas for a theme so far are -

- Insects
- Abstract Food

maybe allow 2 weeks, or people to submit old photos. i dont often have time to wonder round for photos every week

the point of it being a challenge is for people to have a stab at capturing something in the time slot, rather than dig something up taken years ago...i've got mountains of stuff I could wade through - that would be a challenge in itself! - no, the emphasis is on what can be done in the given time; hence challenge

Totally agree on the challenge side of things. What did we get last time was it one or two weeks?

As far as I can remember it varied, sometimes one, sometimes two, sometimes in between.

I think perhaps from a Friday night to the Sunday a week and a bit later later - gives people two weekends in case one is not possible; during the week is obviously not when loads of photos will be taken.

Anyone else got any ideas? I would like to get this started again

Decay.
Moving liquid (river/waterfall/arty stop motion pics of pouring wine/whatever).
Blot on the landscape.
Nightclub (possibly a bad idea, may restrict those with less capable kit (including me until I get a 50mm 1.8 )).
British Rail (train spotter heaven but could be a station or anything directly related to the railways).
Papparazo for a day: photograph the most famous person you can find (would possibly need a long time limit on this one).
