Top Up tv going down the pan

    i'm pee'd off about F*** up tv

the reason being that i ordered top up a couple of months ago so that i could get a few extra channels like discovery and now they are axing tutv so that they can bring in their really pants anytime service in the new year.

im not going to fork out another £120 just to get a below par pvr and poor programming choices.

its a real pity i cant get sky and have no experience of cable

is cable any good i think im in a telewest area

    ah well rant over lol

yeah the current tutv boxs dont support the new anytime cuz they download programes overnite to the pvr which cost either £75 for existing top up customers or £180 for new, but freeveiw will still be available to existing customers with their current boxes.

just we wont be able to view discovery and tcm and the other things

at the end of the day i guess the normal freeview channels are ok and i believe channel five are bringing in 2 new channels five life and five us in october

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Life

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_US

i believe life will cater more for the ladies with female oreintated viewing and US will bring us more american based stuff like csi and ncsi and other american shows

so i'm going to hang fire and see what happens to freeview and then cancel my top up subscription before xmas, guess i have to go the girlfriends to watch mythbusters tho lol

TUTV is utter rubish and a rip off.

I really cant understand why the likes of Sky have not put there own stuff like Sky One etc on thier and charged for that. There is scope to really make someting of the free bandwidth on DVB, there must surely be a good deal of cash to be made from it.
