    TV Connections

    Hi,

I have a very old ITT 17” portable TV model number CP0351/7 , this still has a excellent picture . The problem is they is no scart or phono connections only a Arial connection I have been trying to connect my Matsui dvdr 100 dvd recorder to the TV, but it will not tune into dvd. I have successfully connected my Philips video recorder through the aerial socket then a cyberhome dvd player through the video recorder scart socket so I can then watch DvDs. This is not a good solution, does anyone know of a way to connect my dvd recorder directly to the TV?

Thank you for any help given

probably not. most dvd players wont output over arial because that would eliminate the copy protection. new tv time i think..

I don't know how this will cope with Macrovision protection, but it might be worth a look at an RF modulator

Although, a new 20" TV is only an extra £50

(i'm sure you could find on even cheaper)
