    H80i in a Silverstone FT02?

Does anyone know whether a H80i (or any Corsair AIO) will be effective in a Silverstone FT02, or is a decent air cooler such as the Silver Arrow Extreme going to be a better choice?

I dont know anyone with one of these cases but i found this picture on another forum which would suggest that the H80 wouldnt fit.

if you look at the top edge where the 120mm fan and PCI slots are it looks like the PCI slots are recessed way too far into the case and would obstruct the H80's fitment.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news but a high end air cooler seems to be your only option with this case.

It should fit - ive had a corsair h50,h60 and antec KÜHLER H2O 920 in mine
Its quite a nice fit because the rad is hidden up in that gap and not visible from the side window (unless your using an extra thick rad like the 920 where the bottom fan will be visible).

As for performance wise ive never used an air cooler in ft02 so cant comment
I get plenty of air flow through my 920 with a couple of gentle typhoons. Im using cool and quiet option on my 1090t and it rarely goes above 45 C (on load) on my first gen overclocked 1090t.

    Re: H80i in a Silverstone FT02?

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply!

I took the plunge and went for the H80i, it fits quite nicely, it's snug but with enough wiggle room to not be scraping paint off! I'll post a picture later if I remember once I'm home.

I'll also say, at idle my 3770k was running at 25c, though the fans were a bit loud so it'll be a bit higher once those have been adjusted. That's incredible considering my last chip!

That's great news. I am currently using a Noctua NH-D14 (a great air cooler) in my FT02 case, but am very tempted by the new H80i. A photo of an H80i fitted in an FT02 would be very much appreciated, before I take the plunge. Thanks
