    water cooler in 300R

I'm thinking of getting a water cooler later when I start overclocking, so I was wondering which will fit my case?

You can choose from H60, H80, H50, H40, H55, and H70. Most cooler that has 120mm rad will fit the case.

to be honest .. see if a triple rad will fit and get everything as separates blocks and pumps ..

The top panel of the case does not have enough clearance to mount a radiator with fan, it will encroach over the MB DIMM slots are and maybe hit heatsinks on the top part of the MB. Only single rads are recommended on the rear fan mount.

    Thx Greyhound,
So you are saying that the H80i will fit in to it? even with the double fan and the extra thick radiator?
Do you put the exhaust at the back of the top?
how thick is the plate (the pump on top of the mobo)?

Forgot to say my Mobo is Asus Z87 pro.

Sorry, I forgot to include H80i, but yes that'd work as well.

Yes, you can do push/pull with a thick rad and still would fit the case. You can only mount the radiator on the rear fan mount of the case. Not enough room on top.

    Pump height is about 3/4".

I was wondering if I should use the rear mount as intake or exhaust for the H80i?
normally the rear fan is for exhaust, however my friend told me to use as intake so it can cool the radiator better.

By default, it is recommended for the fan to be intake in the rear so you get fresh air outside the case then blow it through the radiator, but of course, some people will tell you otherwise. CPU temps are going to vary from one system to another, there's just tons of variable to consider to get the optimal set up. The key is, try different orientations and compare your results, then go with the one that has the best outcome.
