Weird. Doesn't sound like pump. Sounds electrical
Re: H100 weird hdd clicky noise
Pockets of air perhaps?
I know my H100 once I removed it to go back to traditional air cooling was pretty empty.
Even though its a closed loop, its inevitable that over time some fluid will escape and the product will run its course.
Re: H100 weird hdd clicky noise
There have been a few people online that have described similar noises; so it probably just air.
Re: H100 weird hdd clicky noise
I have that on my old H70 from time to time. Tilt the whole computer to one side and see if the noise goes away. If it does, it is probably just air trapped inside the loop.
Re: H100 weird hdd clicky noise
air, or it's the gremlins starting to hatch.... :surprised:
or even worse, the gremlins have hatched, and are using a DIY geigercounter while they fashion up something really dirty in there!

Its been coming and going for a while since I posted. I think I'm going to get a new one when I can.

If it is less than 5 years old raise a support ticket and see if they will replace it under warranty.

Re: H100 weird hdd clicky noise
I originally got my h100 in 2011 and it had to be replaced a few times because of horrible pump noises. So I am just out I think. I think I will go with another brand as I haven't had the most pleasant experience with this aio.
Re: H100 weird hdd clicky noise
My h100 used to make these noises and it did for 3 years without issue, apparently it’s so do with some power supplies running the pump too fast. There’s a mod you can do to slow it down but I guess that would void your warranty
